Like A Storm grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. Leaving Kiwi shores with dreams of touring the world, the band began touring the USA in 2009 - quickly establishing a reputation for their energetic live show & original take on hard rock.
Building a diehard following, Like A Storm have become New Zealand's highest charting hard rock band in America - with their last four singles all breaking the Top 25 US American rock radio.
Since leaving New Zealand, the band’s notoriety has grown due to their performances on stages around the globe, where they have toured extensively as a headline act. In the last few years Like A Storm have shared US, UK & European stages with some of the biggest rock bands in the world - including Alter Bridge, Creed, Black Veil Brides, Steel Panther & Korn.
Formed by Kiwi brothers Chris, Matt & Kent Brooks, Like A Storm's lineup is rounded out with American drummer Zach Wood behind the kit. Their breakout single “Love The Way You Hate Me,” from their sophomore record Awaken The Fire, has been viewed over 5-million times and can be seen here: https://youtu.be/5xhubIqV1CI. It was their first single to break inside the top 30 of the Billboard mainstream rock chart.
February 24th will be their first live performance in their hometown since leaving Auckland to follow their dream overseas.
