Shihad + Villainy

Dec
11
Friday, Doors open at 8:30pm

It’s been a big year for Shihad. They’ve celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first gold album, Killjoy with a cracking remastered reissue of the hard rocking classic and recently took home the Tui for "Best Rock Album" for their latest album, FVEY at the New Zealand Music Awards.

December sees Shihad once again open for ACDC both in Wellington and Auckland. Shihad has opened for the legendary Aussie rockers for as long as they’ve toured New Zealand, starting back in 1991. And the band’s history with AD/DC goes back even further…it was scrawling AC/DC slogans on the wall that got Jon Toogood and Tom Larkin chucked out of school, just after the two future bandmates first met.

And now just announced….. a very special warm up show.
