With a voice that can yearn with crystalline purity or howl with guttural anguish, Rateliff is a captivating front man, a commanding presence who nonetheless also is an egalitarian collaborator”. The LA Times

“Rateliff’s restless throwback sound feels like it’s moving toward real revelations. You’d have to think his mama would be proud”. Rolling Stone

Bluesfest Touring and Love Police are thrilled to announce that travelling merchants of R&B blues Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are taking to the road across to Australia and New Zealand this April with live dates set for Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Auckland in conjunction with their performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest.

The eight-piece Soul band will be gracing Australiasian stages again in 2019 but this time with a new album under their belt and an even larger Australiasian audience after a reinvention of Nathaniel’s style in 2015 which is designed to be performed live. Known as party animals on stage, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats offer a unique live performance with a front man who possesses a husky sixties styled voice with inflections of Gospel and a vibrant soulful band to support it.

THIS SHOW IS LICENSED R18 ONLY.
