Friday, Doors open at 8:00pm
After blazing through 2 SOLD OUT shows at The Powerstation last July KATCHAFIRE, KORA and the Sunshine Sound System are set to put winter on hold and do it all over again … Katchafire are one of NZ’s most prolific live bands. After a HUGE summer home run with The Black Seeds and Sons Of Zion, Katchafire headed straight into a US winter where they toured with renowned US reggae band Rebelution over January. After appearances at Homegrown & Tauranga’s One Love Festival, KATCHAFIRE will play two nights at Powerstation before heading back to Europe & Australia this July for a couple of months. Their European schedule includes a stop off at The Summer Jam festival in Cologne Germany, playing alongside Damian Jnr Gong Marley & Wyclef Jean. Don’t miss out on seeing the band showcase their favourite hits over the years. Joining KATCHAFIRE once again at the Powerstation is KORA and the aptly named Sunshine Sound System, rounding off a line up bringing Aotearoa’s finest roots, rock and reggae to the stage.
