JON TOOGOOD SOLO & ACOUSTIC  

Rock ‘n’ roll raconteur Jon Toogood unplugs the Marshall stacks and picks up his acoustic guitar for a run of shows across New Zealand this Spring.

Having sold out Cassels Blue Smoke in Christchurch on Friday the 4^th of October and with a close to sold out show at the Prebbleton Tavern on the Saturday the 5^th of October.

Jon will return to Aotearoa for a further four shows in the North Island. Kicking off at Paisley Stage, Napier on Thursday the 7^th of November, due to high demand a second show has been added on Friday the 8^th of November. Jon will then head to The Waterfront, Raumati on Saturday the 9^th of November- which too has sold out with another show added on Sunday the 10^th of November.

2018 was a loud one for Toogood, between recording, releasing and touring critic and fan-favourite album “HAJA” with The Adults and celebrating thirty years of Shihad by touring Australasia with the boys.

In early 2019 the man toured across the North Island as well as Australia with his one-man show, before launching into his latest project – a series of concerts celebrating 40 years of Neil Young’s iconic “LIVE RUST” album alongside the likes of Liam Finn, Delaney Davidson, The Bads and more.

Armed with yarns and tunes both young and old (spanning two Adults albums, three decades of Shihad and an undisclosed duration on this Planet of Sound), this is Toogood unplugged, unaccompanied and unmasked.
