THUNDERCAT
Thundercat, a major contributor to Kendrick Lamar's critically acclaimed album 'To Pimp a Butterfly', has worked with an eclectic cast of musicians including Flying Lotus, Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, Brandon Coleman & Gorillaz to name a few, on top of playing bass for Suicidal Tendencies for 9 years. Thundercat brings his new album ‘Distracted’ to the Powerstation on May 4.
The opening act are funk 5-piece Black Comet, founded by Ninja, Laughton Kora (Kora, L.A.B, Fly My Pretties). Watch them play at last years WOMAD festival here:
