Suicidal Tendencies

I was sitting in my room and I was like, staring at the walls thinking about everything
And then again, I was thinking about nothing
And then my mom came in and I didn't even know she was there
And she called my name and I didn't hear her and then she started screaming, "Mike! Mike!"
And I go, "What? What's the matter?"
She goes, "What's the matter with you?"
I said, "Nothing, Mom"
She goes, "Don't tell me nothing, you're on drugs"
I go, "No, Mom, I'm not on drugs, I'm okay. I'm just thinking, you know? Why don't you get me a Pepsi?"
She goes, "No, you're on drugs, you're crazy. Normal people don't react in that way"
I go, "Mom, I'm alright, I'm just thinking, you know. So why don't you, like, get me a Pepsi?"
And she goes, "No, you're crazy!"
All I wanted was a Pepsi
Just one Pepsi
And she wouldn't give it to me
Just one Pepsi .....

Institutionalised / Suicidal Tendencies... words used without permission

STILL CYCO ! Forty plus years since the release of their debut self titled album, Suicidal Tendencies bring all things CYCO to the  Powerstation in November 2025, a venue they have played multiple times since they first ripped local heads apart there in 1993 .

Led by the force of nature that is vocalist Mike Muir, the Suicidals busted out of Southern Califonian's Venice Beach in 1980 . Muir couldn't help himself; it was in his blood. Older brother Jim is an original Z boy and Dog Town co-founder . Suicidal Tendencies took their unique skate-punk-thrash-metal through many paths, as well as the look; the vibe;  and attitude of the southern Californian hood to the world. This is a mission that continues to this day. Mike and Suicidal Tendencies in 2025 remain CYCO and "suicidal for life".

"It's not just the music , it's life; it's the attitude. We're not here to fit in: we're here to stand out" - Mike Muir

Suicidal Tendencies 2025 is Mike Muir, Dean Pleasants (long time ST guitarist since '96), and a diverse musical pedigree (literally) of Ben Weinman (Dillinger Escape Plan), metal bass prodigy (who just celebrated his 21st birthday) Tye Trujillo (yep , Robert's son) and newest member on drums Jay Weinberg (Slipknot, and Bruce Springsteen - he sat in for his father who was the Boss's long time drummer).
